Tizen App Development Services for Amazing Web Applications

Image
The fact that the Tizen platform is compatible with a number of web applications makes it a much sought after operating system in the present day where you will find web applications galore. It is basically a Linux based OS and has found extensive usage in smart television, smartphones, and tablets aside from the IVIs or the so called devices that support in-vehicle infotainment. Identifiably, the Tizen OS has a number of advantages over the other operating systems. First and foremost, as it is an open source, not much is required to tweak the OS as per your requirement. For instance, in case of iOS and Android, the flexibility is limited as far as tweaking is concerned. Another benefit of using Tizen OS is that the Tizen apps can be written by using HTML 5. Not only that this particular OS is not just compatible with smartphones and tablets but can also be used as a notebook personal computer. The Tizen operating system is also compatible with Android apps. As such,

Tizen OS 2.3 screenshots reaveal a fresh new look

Image
New screenshots of Samsung's Tizen 2.3 have surfaced, courtesy of  Tizen Indonesia . The latest version of Tizen OS looks a lot more colorful than before with updated icons. Samsung has also used bold color choices throughout the user interface. Unsurprisingly, blue is still the main color of choice, but in addition there's also a lot of extra throughout the UI. Take a look at the screenshots below and judge for yourself. Samsung has optimized the user experience for screen resolutions starting at 800 x 480 pixels (WVGA). The low-end device that the company has been hinting to launch by the end of the year will probably sport this resolution. Other than the fresh coat of paint, there don't seem to be much more functional changes made to how Tizen OS works. It's quite simple and seems to have taken a lot of cues from Android and TouchWiz. Taesoon Jun, Samsung's chief architect on Tizen, said in an interview last week at the company's developers con

Tizen OS vs. Android OS

Image
Samsung’s in-house operating system Tizen is here and it doesn’t look like they’re backing away from pushing it onto the market anytime soon. With Samsung’s release of their own operating system, does Tizen stand a chance on competing independently against Google’s Android? Samsung vs Google                                                © Samsung, Google, SamsungOsTizen The question itself has very little to do with the Tizen operating system and revolves more around Samsung as a brand. If Samsung can equate its quality of mobile devices with their own operating system and overshadow Google Android as a whole, Tizen could get its feet off the ground. If not, consumers will continue to brand Samsung along with Android. It is often mentioned that most new consumers buy a smartphone that has a good design, nice features, or that is affordable. What type of operating system is behind this smartphone, most people who are looking for a new or first time smartphone either care

TIZEN OS Features and Advantages over Android and iOS

Image
Technology is something that abruptly change in such a short time, the bestselling today might be the least selling tomorrow. This is what Tizen OS developers expect in the future. Before, IOS was the largest selling operating system because it was used by the Apple Industry, and the popularity of Apple was very high at that time. Then google launched its Android OS in the market, which snatched the spotlight from IOS. Android became the top grossing OS ever since. However, other developers are trying to make another OS that would be able to compete with Android and IOS. Firefox launched its Firefox OS which was HTML5 based. Then there was Ubuntu Touch, which allowed a split screen multi-tasking. It was also based on HTML5 code. Another new OS that hoped to compete with the other OS in the market is the Tizen OS, which was supported by the big companies like Intel and Samsung. Samsung mobiles have been purely dependent on Google’s OS, the Android. And today, it planned to creat

Samsung patents a new design for a ring operated Smart Watch

Image
We are all looking for the next thing in tech and manufacturers are not so different from us. Something that is innovative, might catch on, and they can quickly patent !!! In this case Samsung has a new design patent awarded to the company that shows a round smartwatch that is operated by a ring around the display. This quick rotary input mechanism is found on Smat Camera’s and other devices like sports watches. It is early days to know if this feature will come to market anytime soon, or if it will be found on a future Tizen Smart Watch, but I really like the added dimension that it brings.
